What were your first impressions?

From our first conversation, they felt like a partner who would work through our concerns with us. As a new business, we were finding our way and did not know what the right answer was. We were impressed by how carefully they listened and how quickly they responded. From the start, it felt less like commissioning a supplier and more like having an external web team that would explore the possibilities with us.

What did you want the website to help you address?

The biggest challenge was that we had so many problems we did not know where to start. We were unsure how to prioritise them or decide on a direction. Having someone work alongside us helped us organise our thinking and move forward step by step. As we tackled each challenge, we began to see a path towards growth.

What stood out about the proposals and the way the project was handled?

The practical advice from the perspective of running the business was especially reassuring. We shared our understanding of the target audience, thought together about how those people would behave, and put measures into practice. We were very grateful for that. Their responses were consistently quick, which also made it easy to move forward with confidence.

What changes have you noticed since launch?

Since launch, traffic has grown steadily and we have continued to build on our results. Repeated cycles of planning, testing and improvement have helped uncover problems we could not see before. Our growth has come from persistent work rather than a single initiative delivering an immediate result, and that effort is taking shape. The long-term partnership has also strengthened our relationship as a team and helped us keep building on our progress.

How would you like to use the website in the future?

We want to make improvements across the site more quickly, with a particular focus on improving first-time conversion. We want to strengthen the journey from attracting visitors to bringing them back and encouraging repeat use, developing the website into a foundation that supports the business over the long term.

What would you say to someone facing similar challenges?

At first, we also felt anxious and did not know where to begin. Finding a partner who would work alongside us eased that uncertainty and helped us take the first step. If you are facing the same concerns, I recommend starting with a conversation. Once we began taking action, we were reminded of how important a website is to the foundations of a business.
